Recently, the said device was spotted running on Android 9.0 Pie already. This could mean that POCOPHONE is serious in keeping their promise to update the F1 late this year.

It highlights a 6.18-inch FHD+ screen, Snapdragon 845 flagship SoC, up to 8GB RAM, at least 64GB storage, 4,000mAh battery w/ Quick Charge 3.0 tech, 12MP + 5MP Dual Pixel cameras, 20MP AI selfie camera, LiquidCool tech, stereo speakers, IR face unlock, and fingerprint scanner.
Currently, it is running with Android 8.1 Oreo OS w/ MIUI 9.6 (For POCO) skin.
Now let's see how soon they can update it to Android Pie.
