The DxOMark score of iPhone XS Max |
Both the Galaxy Note9 and HTC U12+ only has a total score of 103 points. It simply means that the new iPhone XS Max is ahead by 2 points which is quite large.
DxOMark stated that the new iPhone has fast and accurate autofocus, very good target exposure and dynamic range, good detail in all conditions, vivid and pleasant colors in most situations, very good subject isolation, and pleasant spotlight effect in bokeh mode.
The Apple iPhone XS Max comes with one of the best mobile cameras we have ever tested, and in many areas offers noticeable improvements over last year’s iPhone X. Both still and video image quality in bright light are excellent, with a very wide dynamic range and good detail. Autofocus and image stabilization work swiftly and efficiently, and the camera is very reliable overall, consistently delivering good results.
However, the new iPhone failed to dethrone the king of DxOMark, the Huawei P20 Pro with a total camera score of 109 points. It is still a "generation" away from the rest of the competition.
Huawei will also launch the new Mate 20 series on October 16. It could be the P20 Pro camera killer.
What do you guys think?
