The ASUS ZenFone 5 series was one of the better designed smartphones of 2018. Alleged leaks of the successor's design have appeared on the web!

Is this the ASUS ZenFone 6? |
The alleged ASUS ZenFone 6 has a few noteworthy design changes. Instead of a full top notch, it now has a halo notch that gives users a larger screen-to-body ratio. That means bigger real estate and a smaller notch. This is a welcome change as more people believe that manufacturers need to work on reducing or eliminating the notch.

Notch on the right? |
There are even alleged images with the halo notch found at the upper right-hand corner of the device. This might be one of the different iteration of the ZenFone 6 series like the ZenFone 5's 5Q and 5Z. To us, this is an awkward placement.
At the back, the ZenFone 6 has a reflective surface that is reminiscent of the ZenFone 5. The alleged device now has a rear vertical triple camera setup with an LED flash on the upper right side. There is a fingerprint sensor and ASUS branding at the upper-middle part of the back panel.
Allegedly, there are two other variants with dual cameras and a black back cover. They also seems to have a fingerprint sensor and a glass or acrylic material that makes them look shiny and premium.

A hole instead of a notch? |
Another alleged variant with a hole instead of a notch. The hole is found at the upper left of the display but it might change since it looks like it interferes with the lockscreen's clock widget. This variant also seem to have a white back with a dual camera setup placed at the middle of the device. It does not have any physical evidence of a fingerprint sensor so it could have facial recognition only or an In-Display fingerprint sensor.
