OPPO just announced the Hyper Boost, the company's own system-level boost engine. It was designed to enhance performance and battery efficiency of OPPO phones!

The OPPO Hyper Boost optimizes the resource allocation on smartphones. According to OPPO, it was developed extensively over the years prior to today's unveiling. It is a proof of the company's understanding in the system-level optimization in Android.

How it works?

Hyper Boost enables real-time "two-way dialogs" between applications and system resources. Then it will recognize various scenarios and user behaviors from different apps and games.

It will optimize the allocation of resources depending on the needs of the apps. The result? it'll ensure better utilization of hardware resources, faster response speed of apps, and smoother operation of the overall system.

Hyper Boost has 3 parts. It include system, game, and application acceleration.

System engine - It is designed to deliver system-level optimization across Qualcomm and MediaTek platforms. OPPO stated that it has over 50 solutions for optimizing the hardware resources against 20-plus software scenarios and 20-plus software behaviors to ensure smooth and stable experience most of the time. It can achieve up to 31.91 percent shorter loading time.

Game engine - OPPO worked with Tencent, Netease, Unreal, Unity, and Cocos to optimize the top 100 mobile games. Currently, it has optimization for for 11 of the most popular mobile games on the market, like Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile.

This optimization reduces the overall network latency to offer players a more relaxing and smooth gaming experience.

Application engine - It can provide dramatic acceleration in 39 common usage scenarios for users of these heavily used applications. It include the likes of WeChat, Mobile Taobao, and Mobile QQ.
