Nokia 106 feature phone now officially launched

HMD Global announced a new feature phone called Nokia 106. It is a basic feature phone that is set to be available globally.

The Nokia 106 is reminiscent of Nokia's classic line of feature phones. It has a 160 x 120 QQVGA color display. It has a contoured designed with a nostalgic keypad layout. Inside it runs an MTK 6261D processor, 4MB of RAM, a removable 800mAh battery and dual SIM capabilities.

It also has 4MB of storage that can store up to 2,000 contacts and  up to 500 SMS messages. The 800mAh battery is expected to last about 15.7 hours of active usage and 21 days of standby. It also has FM radio. It has a micro USB port for charging as well.

It has a new version of Snake pre-installed

Price and availability

The Nokia 106 will be available starting next week with a global SRP of USD 18 or roughly about PHP 950. It can also be lower once official local availability and prices are confirmed. We will update you once we confirm those.
