ASUS launches ROG G1000 & Edition 20 20th anniversary gears in the PH

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially launched its newest flagship desktop and premium travel gear in the Philippines.

Leading the lineup is the ROG G1000 pre-built gaming desktop, alongside the ROG Slash Backpack Edition 20 and ROG Slash Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20.

Established in 2006, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) was built to supposedly push the limits of PC hardware. Over the past 20 years, the brand has continually led the market in motherboards, graphics cards, gaming laptops, and high-performance desktops. Marking two decades of innovation, this latest launch mixes top-tier gaming power with functional, daily-use travel accessories.

ROG is 20 years old

The ROG G1000 stands out immediately with its large 104-liter tower case and a world's first feature: the AniMe Holo fan system. Instead of a standard glass panel, this desktop uses an isolated front fan module that projects customizable 3D holographic graphics without adding noise or heat to the main components. A dark glass side panel displays the illuminated internal components, which synchronize with standard RGB lighting profiles.

Matching the desktop, the ROG Edition 20 Travel Gears combine a black-and-translucent-gold finish with woven ROG pattern details:

• ROG Slash Backpack Edition 20: Built with an expandable roll-top top, quick-snap magnetic buckles, and side zippers for fast access.
• ROG Slash Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20: Made with a touch polycarbonate shell, reinforced corners, an aluminum frame, and smooth 360-degree silent wheels.

The ROG G1000 pairs the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with the powerful ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 (16GB) graphics card. It comes equipped with 32GB of high-speed DDR5 memory (expandable up to 128GB) and a fast 1TB SSD to store game libraries and media files.

To keep temperatures low during long gaming sessions, ROG uses an isolated Thermal Atrium setup with a large 420mm liquid cooler and three dedicated fans. Pressing a physical Fan Key on the chassis instantly ramps up cooling power when extra performance is needed.

For gamers on the go, the ROG Slash Backpack holds up to an 18-inch laptop plus gear, while the ROG Slash Hard-Case Luggage includes dedicated padded compartments and removable foam dividers designed to protect handhelds, laptops, and accessories.
