Huawei updates P10 to Android Pie with EMUI 9.0

Earlier this week, Huawei released the official EMUI 9.0 update for the Mate 10 and P20 series. But aside from those newer gen phones, there are reports that even the older P10 will get the update as well.

A report by GSMArena stated that they received a tip from Malaysia that Huawei has seeded the final EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie update for the Huawei P10 with dual-SIM slots.

The screenshot revealed that the P10 with VTR-L29 model number are receiving the new EMUI skin with build number 9.0.1.119 update that is 3.38GB big.

It brings an improved and intuitive interface, streamlined process, and will help you understand your digital habits and more.

It also comes with alarms and ringtones inspired by nature and graphically engaging instructions to help understand your phone easier.

EMUI 9.0 will also make your frequently used settings easier to access.

The changelog  also stated that launch time of apps and once-heavy processes are now moving lighting fast.

To update, check the settings of your phone and go about and check if the update package is already there.

The update is also expected to arrive with the VTR-L09 single SIM variant of the P10.
