Vivo Y93 with Helio P22 and fingerprint scanner revealed!

Just last November, Vivo released the Y93 with Snapdragon 439 and no fingerprint scanner in China. Fast forward in December, the company revealed a totally different variant of the said smartphone in India.

The highlights

Vivo launched a Y93 with 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and a fingerprint scanner located at the back.

The rest of the specs are similar with the first Y93 we know. It comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ 1580 x 720 resolution screen with halo notch, 88.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 19:9 screen aspect ratio.

Under the hood, you will find that its Helio P22 SoC is paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. We should note that it is lower than the 64GB storage of its Chinese variant. But, it still comes with 4,030mAh of big battery capacity with micro USB charging.

It also comes with a 13MP f/2.2 primary camera paired with a 2MP secondary camera at the back and an 8MP f/1.8 sensor for selfies.

You will also find the usual WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, OTG, FM Radio, GPS, A-GPS, and dual SIM slots. It also goes with accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensors.

The handset measures at 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28 mm. It boots with Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.5 out of the box.

You can get it in starry black and nebula purple colors.
