Lenovo and Intel launches the Legion of Champions Series III 2019. They are bringing in 60 pro gamers from 11 regions across the Asia Pacific.

India, Japan and South Korea joins LoC for the first time

The participating countries will have an expanded roster with India, Japan and South Korea joining in for the first time. LoC regulars such as Hong Kong/Macau, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines are all returning as well.

The LoC III Grand Finals will be held on January 25 - 27, 2019 at the Central Plaza Ladprao in Bangkok, Thailand. Grand finalist are competing for a total prize pool of over USD 35,000 which is the largest prize pool in LoC history.

The breakdown of prizes:

• LoC III Champions - USD 7,000 + USD 5,000 worth of Legion Y530 notebooks
• 1st Runner up - USD 3,000
• 2nd Runner up - USD 2,000

Lenovo believes that the Legion of Champions Series has helped their Legion line of gaming laptops and peripherals evolve. It was a chance for them to interact with the gaming community and improve their machines accordingly.

The success of the LoC will allow them to hold bigger and better tournaments in the future.
