A lot of 5G powered Qualcomm devices this year

Most of those devices are smartphones. Qualcomm has won a lot of contract with OEMs who are looking to launch 5G devices in 2019.

Most likely, Qualcomm will equip several Samsung and other smartphones with with their current Snapdragon X50 modem.

During the Qualcomm 5G summit last December, both Verizon and AT&T announced that they will released Samsung Smartphones with 5G. Samsung will use the Snapdragon X50 modem for the 2.5GHz spectrum in the US.

Several huge mobile brands such as OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Lenovo also announced that they will release smartphones with 5G this year. For example, Vivo and Xiaomi already have working prototypes of smartphones with Qualcomm powered 5G connectivity.

The claim of Qualcomm could be correct. But, let us not count the other big 5G chip makers from Intel, Huawei, and more.
