Redmi is working on a CNY 2500 (PHP 19.3K) flagship smartphone!

Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi Corporation recently confirmed that the new Redmi brand will continue to make extremely cost-effective smartphones with superior quality. One of them is a CNY 2,500 flagship smartphone.

A Redmi flagship with CNY 2,500 flagship?

It simply means that Redmi will make a high-end smartphone with a mid-range price tag. POCOPHONE, Xiaomi's other sub-brand achieved the same feat when they launched the F1 last mid 2018.

It is likely that Redmi is capable of repeating the same success of the POCO F1 or maybe even more.

We just do not yet when will Redmi launch the said device. If it is true, we have a possible game-changing device that will combat the offerings from other sub-brands like Realme of OPPO and Honor of Huawei.

Yesterday, the brand just announced the Redmi Note 7, a handset with a 6.3-inch waterdrop screen, Snapdragon 660 chip, up to 6GB RAM, and 48MP camera with a crazy starting price of CNY 999 (PHP 7.6K).
