Team Liyab!

Liyab comes with a player or teams for esports titles such as Hearthstone, League of Legends, and Arena of Valor. To recall, Arena of Valor is a new medal game at the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA).

Liyab will be the symbol of the country's burning passion and pride in  global esports events, said Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu

This partnership between Globe and Mineski aims to further strengthen and even accelerate the country's esports program. It could also solidify Philippines' position in the region.

Team Liyab is composed of the country's most promising gamers.

The pool of Liyab will even undergo intensive mental and physical training to ensure their competitiveness. They even have the help of sports science and proper training facilities.

Ronald Robins, the CEO of Mineski even added that he believes that eports is now at a stage whereby new roles are being filled in to assure the constant growth and progress of the athletes.

With the proper management system, we strongly believe we can overcome the hurdles and set an example for many to follow suit as well so to make each country competitive with each game and also to promote a stronger region overall, said Robins.

Team Liyab is expected to bolster Philippines' chances in the upcoming esports tournaments.

Previously, Liyab team members represented Southeast Asia together with the Malaysian and Thai teams in the 2018 League of Legends Rift Rivals against Japan and Oceania regions.

They also represented the Philippines in the Globe Conquerors Manila, the most prestigious League of Legends esports event in Southeast Asia for 2018.

Liyab even  got t
he championship title in the Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL) Season 3 - Arena of Valor.
