The chipset and network will work together to drastically enhance your mobile gaming experience

OPPO's 5G cloud gaming is a high performance cloud computing platform designed to process PC games, after which the image is transmitted to an OPPO 5G smartphone with 5G network to ensure low latency.

It is a solution that will make high-quality mobile gaming possible to more people in the future. With the help of 5G games will have better performance and less lag.

It is also likely that this is a more affordable solution as it could consume less power versus older mobile gaming solutions.

With cloud gaming, gamers can directly enjoy gaming without the worry of lagging. OPPO promises that it will have nicer graphics quality even if it doesn't have console-like CPU and GPU.

To make this tech possible, OPPO partnered with Ericsson with a server provided by the company Shadow in Amsterdam.

It is using a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 855 5G mobile solution with Adreno 640 GPU and X50 5G modem.

OPPO claimed that it could completely transform gaming like never before. How? The chipset and network will work together to drastically enhance the experience with better graphics, high download speed, and low latency.

Using the cloud to stream PC games on portable devices isn't new though, but this development means that OPPO is ready to do it on their own devices.

OPPO also said that they will continue to explore more possibilities with cloud gaming on mobile.

This could be a good move for OPPO as everyone will shift to 5G sooner or later and it could make mobile gaming even bigger.
