Huawei releases Nova 4e with 32MP in China, the P30 lite for the PH market?

Right on schedule, Huawei announced the Nova 4e in China. It's the successor of the P20 lite also known as the Nova 3e.

Nova 4e

Huawei Nova 4e features a Nova 3-like ultra-thin 3D curved glass back cover design in blue, midnight black, and pearl white color options.

Also known as the P30 lite

It has a 6.15-inch 19:5:9 dewdrop screen with tiny notch and FHD+ 2312 x 1080 resolution. Inside, it runs with the 2.2GHz 64-bit 12nm Kirin 710 chip paired with Mali-G51 MP4, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB storage (expandable to 512GB with microSD), and 3,340mAh battery with USB-C charging.

3D glass back design

At the back, it comes with 3 cameras. It features a 24MP f/1.8 main camera + 8MP 120-degree ultra wide-angle lens + 2MP depth camera. As expected, it has AI for scene detection (up to 22 different categories) and more.

For selfies, it has a 32MP f/2.0 camera, the resolution front camera on a Huawei phone yet. It also has 3D modeling, tailor-made AI face beauty mode, and face unlock tech.

Behind, you will also find a fingerprint scanner. It also has WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

The phone measures at 152.9 x 72.7 x 7.4 mm and weighs at 159 grams.

The Nova 4e with 4GB RAM is priced at CNY 1,999 (around PHP 15.6K) while the 6GB RAM is priced at CNY 2,299 (around PHP 18K).

Huawei Nova 4e is known as the P30 lite for the international market.
