Lenovo Z6 Pro announced, a vlogging camera phone with Hyper Video tech

Right on schedule, Lenovo formally announced the Z6 Pro. It's a phone with top-of-the-line specs and a rear quad-camera system designed for mobile photographers and vloggers.

Lenovo Z6 Pro key specs and highlights

Lenovo Z6 Pro boasts a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with HDR10 technology and DCI-P3 color gamut. It's a 19:5:9 screen with a tiny waterdrop-like notch on top and an In-Display fingerprint scanning solution.

Under the hood, it runs with the 2.84GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor with Adreno 640 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512GB storage, expandable memory up to 512GB with microSD card, and 4,000mAh battery with USB-C 27W fast charging tech.

On the camera part, it goes with four cameras at the back and a single selfie camera. It highlights a 48MP f/1.8 main camera with PDAF, 16MP f/2.2 125-degree ultra-wide lens with 2.39 cm macro mode, 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera, and a 2MP f/1.8 super video camera.

It also features a Hyper Video solution that uses OIS, six-axis gyroscope, ToF, PDAF, and AI optimizations to minimize shake on videos even when moving.

For selfies, it highlights a 32MP AI-assisted selfie camera.

The handset also comes with Dolby Panoramic Sound, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1 + L5 dual-band), and dual SIM slots (hybrid).

It boots with Android 9.0 Pie OS with ZUI 11 skin. The phone measures at 157.5 x 74.6 x 8.65 mm and weighs at 185 grams.

It is available in black and blue color options with a starting price of CNY 2,899 or around PHP 22K. It will go on sale in
 China starting April 29.

There's no word regarding its local availability yet.
