Grab to boost platform with new services this year

New services for the super app

In an aim to live its status as a "super app", Grab will be launching new transport, lifestyle, and payments services within the year.

As an everyday super app, Grab strives to provide the best solutions to the everyday needs of Filipino consumers, bringing them closer to things that matter to them. Through constant innovation and evolution, we are turning our super app vision into a more concrete reality. Soon, Grab users can use the Grab platform for more services that help them meet their daily needs, Grab President Brian Cu said. 

The ride-hailing firm will start the pilot test for its Bus Marketplace, where Grab will team up with bus operators and shipping lines in Metro Manila to allow passengers to book system on its mobile app. 

Grab will also have Southeast Asian video-streaming provider HOOQ onboard its platform. 

A Tickets service tile powered by SM Cinemas is also on the pipeline, where users can book their movie tickets in advance. 

The company recently unveiled the new Hotel tile to let Grab users book their accommodations from Agoda and Booking.com. 

Moreover, Grab is preparing to introduce financial technology solutions, including GrabBillsPay, GrabFinancial, Grab Insurance, and Grab Remittance.
