AMD Radeon RX 5700 series to be available on July 7, starts at USD 379

The AMD Radeon RX 5700 series was announced at the tail-end of Computex 2019 but will be yet available until July 7 according to the company's CEO, Dr. Lisa Su.

RX 5700 series is the newest family of AMD's mid-to-high end video cards. These cards essentially replace AMD’s previous RX Vega 64/56 parts, offering similar-to-better performance at lower prices, lower power consumption, and with newer features.

At the high end we have the fully enabled Radeon RX 5700 XT, which sports 40 CUs and a peak clockspeed of over 1900MHz. Meanwhile, the Radeon RX 5700, is the traditional second-tier part that cuts back on some functional units and performance in the name of offering a lower-priced card.

These look like directly competes with the GeForce RTX 2070 and RTX 2060, respectively. 

Price and availability

We have yet to receive these upcoming AMD RX 5700 series in the Philippines but we will keep you updated once we get a word from their local head int he country. But it will be initially available on July 07, 2019 at select regions for USD 379 for the Radeon RX 5700 and USD 449 for the Radeon RX 5700 XT.
