Xiaomi's sub-brand sold 15 million Redmi 7 units in 6 months!

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi announced that it sold over 15 million units of the Note 7 in just 6 months.

It includes the Redmi Note 7 (Redmi Note 7S in India), Redmi Note 7 (12MP India), and Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The massive success of the Redmi Note line is likely due to its insanely good price to specs ratio. In PH, Redmi Note 7 with PHP 7,990 starting price is the most affordable with a 48MP camera.

It also comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen, up to 4GB RAM, up to 128GB expandable storage, 4,000mAh battery, 13MP selfie camera, IR blaster, and AK 98937 Smart PA.

Sadly, the Redmi Note 7 Pro with beefier specs was not launched in PH.

Redmi's success is more impressive than Huawei's sub-brand HONOR. In comparison, HONOR sold 15 million units of HONOR 8X in 9 months versus the 6 months of Redmi.
