Addressing the need the 24/7 delivery

According to studies, hunger is related to lower productivity and irritability and anyone can experience these problems whether a hardworking student, career-driven employee or parents who are trying to balance their priorities. Filipinos schedule is busier than ever with family, work or school and traffic madness so GrabFood recognizes their need to satisfy hunger.

This hunger and cravings can strike anytime and there can be difficulty in finding food during wee hours as there is a lack of options for food delivery. GrabFood Head EJ Dela Vega stated that the demand for food delivery for this timeslot has increased 13 times since March this year and it may be attributed to higher demand from “night owls” and BPO employees.

With this in mind, GrabFood has decided to partner over 1000 restaurants in Metro Manila and Cebu and it now allows round the clock delivery in at least 20 locations. For starters, these are the areas that have this service: Manila, Makati, Quezon City, Pasig, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Marikina, Muntinlupa, San Juan, Caloocan, Valenzuela, Mandaluyong, Malabon, Pateros, Navotas, Taguig, Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu, and Mandaue.

The upgrade in delivery service means GrabFood customers can now order from McDonald’s, KFC, Bonchon, Bully Buffalo Wing Bar, Chatime, Jamba Juice, Happy Lemon, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Mister Kabab, Ersa, and many more. The delivery charge is PHP 49 but may go up to PHP 79 at most.

With our expanded operations, GrabFood has become a more reliable partner for hungry eaters in the Philippines, catering to a wide variety of palates through its extensive restaurant choices that cater to different markets, dela Vega added.
