Redmi to showcase its own 64MP camera phone on August 7

A few days ago, realme revealed that it will showcase its 64MP quad-camera system on August 8. Now, a poster online appeared suggesting that its rival Redmi might unleash its own 64MP phone one day ahead.

It is clear that Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi really wants to be hailed as the first mobile phone maker in the world to show a 64MP shooter.

Like realme, Redmi's upcoming device is expected to feature a 64MP primary sensor, the ISOCELL Bright GW1 of Samsung.

As a quick recap, it is a camera sensor that will combine four pixels to produce 16MP images with better details and low light performance than most older camera solutions.

It is the rumored sensor that takes 20MB big images for Xiaomi.

Other than that, we do not know other details regarding this device yet. There are rumors floating around stating that it might be the next Redmi Note phone, the Redmi Note 8.
