It revealed that the upcoming phone from Xiaomi's sub-brand will feature a dual punch-hole screen.

The dual punch-hole screen is similar to what we saw with the Galaxy S10+ for its selfie dual-cam.

It is expected to be the first Xiaomi phone with such design to eliminate the notch and achieve a higher screen-to-body ratio.

Redmi also announced that it will come with support for 5G SA/NSA. SA means 5G stand-alone while NSA means 5G non-stand alone and it should work with sub-6GHz networks.

While it wasn't revealed, the company is expected to use a Snapdragon 7 with dual-mode 5G. Why? Last month, Qualcomm revealed that 5G is coming for the older 7 and 6 series in 2020.

But knowing Redmi, we won't be surprised if it will feature a higher-end type of chip with built-in 5G or 5G support.

The phone is also expected to be more powerful with modern features like the In-Display fingerprint scanner, a lot of cameras, and bigger battery capacity.

There's no word yet when will it go official though.
