1. Triple-cam? Not quad-cam?In a teaser video released by Huawei, we clearly see the new Nova device to be sporting several cameras vertically setup on its back.

This setup, which boasts 60MP primary camera, is a big step up from its predecessor, the Nova 5, as far as megapixels and sensors are concerned. The new Nova iteration also has an addition of what seems to be laser autofocus, ToF, or a macro teaser by the rear cameras and LED flash.

2. Dual punch-hole display The official teaser video validated the renders of the Nova 6 sporting a dual punch-hole display that circulated the internet recently. The punch holes are for the 32MP and 12MP front-facing cameras of the smartphone, as well as lending users more space to view content.

3. Side-mounted fingerprint scanner/power buttonUnlike other Huawei devices which feature a rear or under-display fingerprint scanner, the Nova 6 appears to be sporting a fingerprint scanner on either its side. It is also claimed that the fingerprint scanner will double duty as a power button. The device will also have a USB-C port, speaker grilles, and SIM slots on the sides.

4. Other features The Nova 6 will feature a sleek body that’s devoid of a 3.5mm audio jack, as per reports. This might be Huawei’s move to push trial for its wireless earphones.

Reports also say the Nova 6 will be powered by a 7nm+ EUV Kirin 990 5G processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The phone will also come with a built-in 4,000mAh battery and support for 40W SuperCharge.

There is also a 4G configuration for Nova 6 and will be available in various colors.

There's still no word as to the price and availability of the Nova 6 in the Philippines, so stay tuned to know more.
