1. Design - The Honor 9X has a 3D curved glass-like back panel, a curved polycarbonate frame, and an all-screen glass display with over 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Yes, there is no notch here. Instead, it has a pop-up selfie camera which is an up-to-date design choice.

It has a stylish Dynamic X design at the back that forms an X-shape reflection depending on how the light hits it. There's also a classic Midnight Black colorway. It has a traditional fingerprint reader in the back as well.

2. All-screen FHD+ goodness - As mentioned earlier, with Honor opting for a pop-up selfie camera, it gave the Honor 9X to have a 6.59-inch FHD+ IPS screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent.

It has slim bezels up top and both sides while the chin is thicker. It looks sleek and makes for a great viewing experience.

3. Respectable specs - Inside, it has a capable Kirin 710F octa-core processor, Mali-GPU MP4 with GPU Turbo 3.0, 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB expandable storage. Kirin 710F is also the upgrade of Kirin 710.

From our experience, it is more than enough for daily workload as well as some media and casual gaming.

4. 48MP triple camera setup - The Honor 9X has a triple camera setup with 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX582 + 8MP f/2.4 120-degree ultra wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 depth and LED flash. Each sensor serves a different purpose which makes the whole setup versatile. For selfies, it has a 16MP f/2.2 sensor.

5. Big battery with 10W fast charging - It has a fairly big 4,000mAh battery that could definitely last you a whole day. However, in times where you do need a charge the 10W fast charging can boost you for some extra juice.
