Huawei P40 Pro could sport a humpless penta camera system!

A few days back, Huawei consumer group CEO Richard Yu revealed that the P40 and P40 Pro will be unveiled in March.

Ahead of its launch, new leaks regarding the device have appeared online showing its camera module at the back.

The image obtained by IT Home showed that the Huawei 40 Pro will sport a Leica penta camera setup. IT Home added that one of those 5 cameras is a ToF (Time of Flight) 3D lens.

Earlier rumors suggest that it will have a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, 20MP ultra-wide module, 12MP periscope camera with 10x telephoto zoom, a macro camera, and a 3D ToF unit.

The back panel is made out of 3D curved glass as expected and the cameras have an LED flash and color temperature sensor below.

The interesting part here is the render suggests that there is no camera hump unlike the big bulge on the P30 Pro.

If true, that's impressive for a phone with a periscope camera module that is supposed to make phones have bigger camera humps.

Yu said that the cameras of P40 Pro will be unprecedented.
