Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G is the world's first tablet with 5G

Staying true to its word, Samsung launched the world's first tablet with next-generation 5G connectivity, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G.

Basically, it is virtually the same as the original Galaxy Tab S6, but it now has the Snapdragon X50 5G modem, an upgrade over the X24 LTE modem on the LTE variant last year.

It still has the S Pen supported 10.5-inch QHD+ AMOLED touchscreen, Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage expandable via microSD up to 1TB, and 7,040mAh battery with USB-C charging support.

The tablet also has a 13MP f/2.0 + 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide dual-cam behind and a single 8MP f/2.0 shooter in front.

There are four speakers by AKG with support for Dolby Atmos.

The new Galaxy Tab S6 5G will be available in South Korea on January 30, 2020, for KRW 999,900 or around PHP 43K out of straight conversion.

In the Philippines, the 4G version is priced at PHP 47,990. There's no word yet if the 5G version will be available here as well.
