A new rugged phone with a removable battery

The XCover Pro features an IP68 water and dust resistant body with MIL-STD-810 military-grade toughness rating. In front, it uses a modern 6.3-inch display with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole on the top left corner to house the selfie camera. The cool thing about its screen is it works even with wet hands or while wearing gloves.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 10nm Exynos 9611 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It is paired with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and 4,050mAh battery with 15W fast charging. Interestingly, it has a removable battery option which makes it great for those who need extra batteries on the go.

For the cameras, it has a 25MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide secondary camera. It has a 13MP shooter in front.

The phone also has two programmable keys that can be used to turn on or off the flashlight and even create messages using their voice.

It also has a fingerprint reader, WiFi, and 4G LTE. The phone runs with Android Pie, but it might be updated to Android 10 in the future. It has the Samsung Knox for security as well.

The phone will be available in Europe from February 2020. It could be priced under EUR 500 (around PHP 28K).
