JRS Express, GCash partner for cashless payment

Courier service provider JRS Express tapped e-wallet GCash to enable its customers to pay using the mobile app.

JRS Express customers can now pay using GCash app

JRS Express said a total of 430 branches are now equipped with GCash's quick response code (QR code), allowing its clients to pay seamlessly using their smartphones.

We have been looking forward to this partnership as we know that going digital and going cashless is the way to go!  We know that through digital payments, we can ensure faster and convenient transactions, said JRS Chairman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President, Antonio M. Claparols.

Anthony Thomas, President and CEO of Mynt, the operator of GCash, on the other hand, said this was part of the company's vision of enticing more firms to adopt cashless payment system. 

This partnership with JRS is a welcome collaboration which enables us to share fast, secure and convenient cashless technology to their customers, Thomas said. 

Established in 1960, JRS has already cemented its position in the local logistics industry with more than 430 branches across the country.
