Samsung Galaxy A01 arrives in PH for just PHP 5,490!

Silently, Samsung has made its newest budget smartphone available in Philippine shores, the Galaxy A01.

The Samsung Galaxy A01 is an entry-level handset with curved plastic back design in Black, Blue, and Red colors. In front, it has a pretty large 5.7-inch display with HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution and the Infinity-V notch.

It is available in Black and Blue colors

Inside, the specs are not too shabby. The smartphone is powered by the 1.95GHz 12nm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU, an SoC that's fairly powerful especially for budget phones.

SD439 is paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and 3,000mAh battery.

The camera at the back features a 13MP + 2MP setup. The 2MP module is for depth effect. For selfies, it has a 5MP f/2.0 snapper.

It does not have a fingerprint scanner, but at least it has 4G LTE and dual SIM slots.

The phone runs with Android 9.0 Pie OS with One UI skin.

Samsung's SM Megamall Flagship Store said that the Galaxy A01 is now available in stores for PHP 5,490. That's quite affordable for a phone with decent specs.
