Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro flagships with 8K video support announced!

On schedule, Xiaomi has launched the new Mi 10 series, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Both are packed with top of the line specs, LPDDR5 RAM, 5G, and monstrous cameras.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 is packed with a punch-hole Gorilla Glass 6 protected 18:7:9 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch response rate, 5000000:1 contrast ratio for superb color accuracy, 1,200 nit brightness, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside, it is powered by the 7nm 2.84GHz Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset with Adreno 650 GPU and a separate Qualcomm X55 5G modem, Super VC Liquid Cooling, 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 storage with Write Turbo solution, and a 4,780mAh battery with 30W PD fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

For cameras, it has a quad-camera configuration starring a 108MP f/1.69 main camera, 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera, 2MP f/2.4 macro camera, and 2MP depth camera. It has OIS and EIS tech for stabilization and 8K video recording support.

The handset also has a 20MP selfie shooter, stereo speakers, WiFi 6, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, NFC, dual-band GPS, and Android 10 OS w/ MIUI 10 skin.

It measures at 162.6 x 74.8 x 8.96 mm and weighs 208 grams.

Next is the more powerful Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro. It still uses the 6.67-inch display, the same 5G-ready chipset, and similar 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, but it has 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.0 storage.

The battery is smaller at 4,500mAh, but it has a faster wired charging at 50W. The wireless charging and reverse wireless charging stays at 30W and 10W, respectively.

For the cameras, it has a bump in specs. It uses a 108MP f/1.69, 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, 12MP f/2.0 short telephoto, and an 8MP f/2.0 long telephoto. It has the same up to 8K video recording. But, it has up to 10x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom.

The rest is similar to the Mi N10.

For the Xiaomi Mi 10, the 8GB/128GB version is priced at CNY 3,999 (around PHP 26K). The 8GB/256GB variant goes for CNY 4,299 (around PHP 31K), and the 12GB/256GB edition retails for CNY 4,699 (around PHP 33K).

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 8GB/256GB is priced at CNY 4,999 (around PHP 36K, the 12GB/256GB retails for CNY 5,499 (around PHP 39K), and the 12GB/512GB will be available for CNY 5,999 (around PHP 43K).
