LG G9 will have 5G chipset and a larger screen

Based on a Korean report, LG is widening the gap between the G-series and V-series to improve its sales profit. It is changing its marketing strategy by selling LG V60 and other premium phones in North America and Western Europe.

Meanwhile, the tech giant plans to market G9 and other cheaper flagships in other regions, including South Korea.

It said that the G9 ThinQ is going to be released as a mid-ranger with SD765G chipset, probably a larger screen compared to its predecessor LG G8. Perhaps, the device will sport a 6.7 to 6.9 inches pf 1080p OLED display.

Moreover, it will allegedly feature a quad-camera set-up on the back However, the final design will be a bit different than the one that leaked previously. Also, the G9 will pack a 4,000mAh battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack with a Quad DAC.

The official launch of LG G9 ThinQ is said to be at the end of March with a selling price of KRW 900,000 (more or less PHP 36.6K)  As this is claimed to have the same pricing as G8, the 5G connectivity is not yet considered in the cost.
