Huawei has just added a Google Maps replacement at the AppGallery, the HERE WeGo app.

Google Maps replacement for Huawei devices

To recall, HERE WeGo originally developed by Nokia as Here Maps. It's a mapping software application that was first released for Windows Phone and the internet in 2013 as a revamped version of Nokia Maps.

Since Huawei phones don't have Google out the box because of the China-US trade war situation, HERE WeGo might be a good alternative.

Apart from traditional mapping features, the app comes with FREE voice-guided navigation and public transit information for 1,300+ cities. It also has an option to download offline maps in case the place you will visit doesn't have an internet connection.

Apart from HERE WeGo, Huawei also signed a deal with TomTom for maps and services back in January.

Those who still want to use Google Maps on a Huawei device, you may download its APK via online through different app markets like APKPure.
