Popular anime One Piece is finally coming to Netflix

Netflix has just announced on Twitter that the popular anime One Piece will finally be available on the streaming platform on June 12.

The post added that the series will start with the East Blue and Alabasta sagas, a total of 130 episodes.

To recall, One Piece is a manga-based anime with over 900 episodes and counting. Produced by Toei Animation, it first premiered on Fuji TV on October 20, 1999. Since then, it has become one most popular anime shows worldwide.

One Piece is the story of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as "One Piece" in order to become the next Pirate King.

The anime series arrive first in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. There's no word yet when will it arrive in the rest of the world.

Apart from the anime, Netflix and One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda are working on a live-action version of the said anime.
