Nikon has officially announced the new Z5 FX-format (full-frame) entry-level mirrorless camera with a 24MP CMOS sensor with In-body image stabilization (IBIS or VR) and Expeed 6 processor. It features an ISO range of 100-51200, shutter speed range of 30 seconds to 1/8000, 273 AF points, Hybrid contrast and phase-detect AF, and 4.5fps continuous shooting.

It is capable of 4K 30fps and 1080p 60fps video recording that can write to Dual UHS-II SD cards, or out through micro HDMI. Other ports included USB Type-C, Microphone and Headphone port. The new camera also connects wirelessly through WiFi and Bluetooth.

At the back is 1.04M 3.2-inch tilting touch display while in the viewfinder is a 2.369M dot electronic viewfinder.

Powering the camera is the EN-EL15c Li-ion battery that is rated for 470 shots. The whole camera weighs only 675 grams with the batteries and measures 134 x 101 x 70mm. There is no NFC and no GPS.

There is no word yet on Philippine pricing and availability.
