Globe introduces HomeCourt to Filipino basketball enthusiasts

A new way of engaging in sports during the pandemic

Telco giant Globe is launching HomeCourt as a sports and fitness partner so basketball fans can stay active like their favorite NBA players. As a new way to enjoy sports activity inside your house, it can deliver a new mobile training experience to its users. This is enabled with a mobile AI in which it uses the cameras on your smartphone.

The technology simulates sports training through a live-action video game.

HomeCourt became an official NBA partner last year and it already received recognition as the most innovative company and technology in Sports. It has monitored more than 1B dribbles and a hundred million shots across 200 countries.

In addition, HomeCourt started including football drills and general fitness activities as a way of promoting an active lifestyle for families.

Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash told how important the HomeCourt as a training tool for professional basketball players like him. He said,

I wish I had technology like HomeCourt when I was learning how to play. As professional basketball players, we know how important it is to have the best training tools and basketball knowledge to fully develop your game. We are excited to help the next generation of Filipino basketball players reach their potential with HomeCourt.
