Your Phone app update rolling out!

Android apps running on Windows

The Apps feature on Microsoft Your Phone app allows users to see and use the apps from their smartphone on their Windows computer. This feature was previously an insider program feature only but has now been integrated into the latest version of the Your Phone app via a software update.

Once installed, users can now see the Apps tab on the left and a full list of apps installed on the user's smartphone on the right side. Users can then click to open an app on the list as if the app was native to the Windows PC. Users can even pin the app on the Windows taskbar for easy access.

Only one app can run at a time but Microsoft is on its way to allow multiple apps run simultaneously. The company says that it should be available later this year.

As of now the Apps feature only works with select Samsung phones and the Microsoft Surface Duo.
