Samsung will allegedly manufacture upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship chipsets!
Samsung Electronics foundry division has won the contract to produce the upcoming 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 (tentative name).

New flagship 5nm chipsets from Qualcomm will be made by Samsung?
Qualcomm is set to introduce its next flagship chipset this December and it is expected to be named the Snapdragon 875.
Reports from Korea claim that Samsung Semiconductor Company has managed to offer a better deal than TSMC and thus the Korean Giant will manufacture the whole batch of chipsets for next year's flagship chipset using the Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography or EUV from Samsungs foundry in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
Samsung Semiconductor Company is the largest semiconductor manufacturer for the past 20 years. This deal solidifies Samsung's position and reports claim that the deal will cost Qualcomm between USD 850 Million to USD 1 Billion.
Qualcomm recently had a keynote during the IFA 2020 earlier this month where manufacturers like OPPO and Xiaomi are expected to use the new flagship SoC from Qualcomm as early as March of 2020.
