Along with the Razr 5G, Motorola successfully returned to the Philippine market with the launch of the Motorola G 5G Plus.
As the name suggests, this is a 5G-ready handset. AND, since it is under the G series of Motorola, it is an affordable handset.
To make 5G possible, Motorola equipped this handset with the 7nm EUV Snapdragon 765 octa-core processor with Adreno 620 GPU and a dedicated Snapdragon X52 RF-System 5G modem. Take note, it is not using the more powerful SD765G.
It uses a water-repellent body in Surfing Blue colorway and a Gorilla Glass 5 protected 6.7-inch LCD (LTPS) 90Hz CinemaVision display with FHD+ 2520 x 1080 resolution and HDR10 support
Moto paired its SD765 chip with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage via microSD up to 1TB, and a 5,000mAh large battery with USB-C 20W TurboPower fast charging support.
For cameras, the device is using a 48MP f/1.7 main camera + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera + 5MP f/2.2 macro camera + 2MP f/2.2 depth camera + LED flash.
In front, you'll see a 16MP f/2.0 snapper paired with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera.
The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack slot, bottom-firing single speaker, Smart PA amp, dual-band WiFi, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS (L1 + L5), GLONASS, Galileo, and Android 10 OS.
It measures 168 x 74 x 9 mm and weighs 207 grams.
