With its aim to provide city shoppers stress-free and convenient shopping, PICK.A.ROO is established by Crystal Gonzalez and Kevin Tan. The company's CEO Gonzales said,

On the other hand, Tan gave focus on the drive to pursue this because they want to help retailers. He said that they already approached the idea of presenting digital transformation among entrepreneurs. Then after that, the pandemic happened and there were drastic changes full of uncertainty and anxiety.

With that in mind, they came up with a mission to support retailers in adapting to the digital means.  At the same time, they want to provide users an easy shopping experience.

As of now, PICK.A.ROO offers varied options for  food, groceries, gadgets, home essentials, and mom and baby needs. Several of the brands were requested by the app users such as Beyond the Box, Digital Walker, Shangri-La, Hilton, Michelin establishments (Tim Ho Wan, Hawker Chan, Kam’s Roast), The Grid, S&R, Landers, Robinsons, Farmer’s Market, Mothercare, Parenting Emporium, Wildflour, Mos, Ben’s Cookies, Gourdo’s, Faceshop, and Designer Blooms.

 As of the moment, the app is available for residents of Metro Manila, Antipolo, Bacoor, and Cainta. Partner brands can deliver to places as far as 10 kilometers. Once the users placed their orders, they will receive updates about every step of the process until the delivery of the item. Payments are only finalized after delivery to make the customers feel secured.

There are also FREE deliveries with a low minimum spend.  For those that don’t reach the minimum, deliveries for supermarket purchases are as low as P88, and just P48 for everything else. 

The latest addition to the growing list of PICK.A.ROO partner merchants is The Moment Group, one of the most popular restaurant groups locally. The moment has already established twelve food brands in their roster, among them: 8Cuts, Manam, Ooma, and  Din Tai Fung. 

Since safety and hygiene are important especially nowadays, PICK.A.ROO provides all of its crew with face masks, face shields, and PPEs. They also give insurance and financial literacy programs to all the company’s riders and personal shoppers.
