Sony today announced that the new PlayStation 5 (PS5) will be launched in the Philippines on December 11, 2020. The Ultra HD Blue-ray version is priced at PHP 27,990.

To recall, the PlayStation 5 is the company's new-generation console that promises to bring unique gaming experiences.

It uses an AMD Ryzen Zen 2 chip with 8 Cores and 16 Threads up to 3.5GHz, AMD Radeon RDNA 2-based graphics engine with Ray Tracing Acceleration and Variable frequency up to 2.23GHz (10.3 TFLOPS), 16GB GDDR6 RAM with 448GB/s Bandwith, 825GB SSD with 5.5GB/s Read Bandwidth, DualSense controller, 2x USB-A ports, 1x USB-C port, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, and Bluetooth 5.1.
