HONOR CEO George Zhao Ming confirms that future devices will come with Google Services.
South China Morning Post reports that HONOR CEO George Zhao Ming says that the company has a new mission for 2021: "Our core mission this year is to make flagship phones that can compete with Apple and Huawei in China."
The CEO also said that there is no reason for the company to not partner with Google and other companies like Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and MediaTek for future devices. South China Morning Post also says that the CEO added that the HONOR and Google are in talks.
There is no word yet if the recently announced HONOR V40 5G will also benefit from the current 'talks' by HONOR and Google. If this becomes a reality, HONOR may absorb the demand for Huawei smartphones with Google apps.
