South Korean firm Samsung announced the appointment of Mr. Sangho Jo as the new President and CEO of Southeast Asia and Oceania region.

Mr. Sangho Jo

Mr. Sangho Jo is a proven Samsung leader with over three decades of experience across business groups and geographies. He will steer the strategic growth directions of Samsung Electronics in Southeast Asia and Oceania.

Southeast Asia and Oceania markets are key parts of Samsung's long term growth plans. These regions are poised for rapid economic growth in the next decade revolving around building digital ambitions for cities, industries, and communities.

Mr. Jo has been previously appointed as the President and CEO for Samsung Electronics in Europe where he led the business to achieve sustainable commercial growth and brand favorability in 2020. He also served as President for Samsung Electronics Germany, UK, Sweden, Austria, Baltic countries, and as Head of Visual Display Business for Samsung Electronics in South Korea.
