Chinese mobile maker Infinix today announced the Smart 5 for the Indian market. This is different from the Smart 5 announced in August.
The Indian Infinix Smart 5 comes with a larger 6.82-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, 12nm MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz with PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at 650MHz and 6,000mAh battery. This is paired with either 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM with 32GB expandable storage.
To recap, the Smart 5 in Nigeria comes with a smaller 6.6-inch screen and a 5,000mAh battery.
The back design is also similar to the Hot 10 Play with a rectangular-shaped camera hump and a fingerprint scanner at the back. It is available in Green, Black, Blue, and Purple colors. In the display, you will find an 8MP selfie camera.
The cameras at the back sports a 13MP main camera and secondary low light shooter. There is an LED flash as well.
Obviously, the phone has WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
This runs with Android 10 (Go edition) OS with XOS 7 skin.
In India, the phone starts at INR 8,999 or around PHP 5.9K. But, it'll come with a pre-order price of INR 7,199 or around PHP 4.7K. It will go on sale starting Feb 18.
In PH, the Hot 10 Play with similar specs is priced at PHP 4,299.
