Samsung is now open to take pre-orders for its new Galaxy Chromebook 2 in the US. The new Chromebook has a starting price of USD 549.

It has a 13.3-inch FHD+ Samsung QLED display

The Galaxy Chromebook 2 features a 13.3-inch FHD+ Samsung QLED display with touch support and S Pen support compatibility. At the entry-level configuration, it features an Intel Celeron processor and can be upgraded to a 10th Gen Intel Core i3-10110U that clocks in at 2.1GHz and can be boosted up to 4.1GHz. It also has an unspecified GPU by Intel and supports up to 4K external monitors. It also has 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

It has a slim design with measurements of 12 x 8 x 0.55 inches and weighs 2.72 lbs. There are also a headphone jack and dual 5W speakers. There's also a 720p web camera for conference calls and meetings. For the battery, it has a 45.5WHr battery that is rated to last for 13 hours and has 2 USB-C ports that can provide power. Lastly, it supports Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 6.
