Two screens? That's for plebs. A UK Company called Expanscape unveiled a prototype laptop that has 7 screens. It also has 1-hour of battery life.

Expanscape Aurora 7: A laptop with seven screens

I heard you like screens

At this point, you gotta ask why. The Expanscape Aurora 7 laptop looks like something you see from a movie or TV show wherein the user just press random keys on the keyboard to look like he is doing something. Technically, you can still use it on your lap but we don't see why you would.

Aurora 7 is still in its prototype stage. This is obvious once you notice the amount of 3D printed parts it has. This machine is designed to be a mobile transforming workstation suited for different users such as developers, artists, content creators. Even gaming is possible with this.

As of now, the prototype sports specs, which are relatively outdated, but still capable. It has an Intel Core-i9 9900K CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 64GB DDR4 RAM, and a 2TB HDD. It also has an additional 2.5TB SSD.

Now, the elephant in the room. Or should we say elephants? The Aurora 7 has four 17.3-inch 4K LCD screens. It has two in portrait and two in landscape mode. There are also three 7-inch smaller screens in 1920 x 1200 resolution. These screens are designed to fold among themselves to form a compact machine for carrying.

We use compact loosely here as it is 4.3-inch thick when folded and weighs around 26 pounds. With all these screens and power, you are better off plugging it in as it only lasts 1 hour off the battery.

What do you guys think?
