Globe's newest endorser, "Start-Up" star Kim Seon Ho "meets" Filipino fans

Filipino fans of "Start-Up" star Kim Seon Ho, listen up! Globe Telecom officially launched an A-list Korean actor as its newest endorser.

In February, the Ayala-led telco shared a video of Seon Ho where he was seen unboxing packages sent by some of his Filipino fans.

To welcome Seon Ho, Globe held a virtual meet for fans on Sunday, March 21. This was announced through a series of social media posts both on Twitter and Facebook.

We're sad it's over but our hearts are full as ever! Thank you for reinventing the kilig with us tonight at the #GlobeKimSeonHo E-Fan Meeting! Stay tuned 'cause more K-events are coming, Globe said in its Twitter post. 

Just in December, Globe also introduced South Korean girl group BLACKPINK to be its brand ambassador.

Philippine telcos have been tapping Korean actors to endorse their brands. Globe's main competitor PLDT boasts A-list actors Hyun Bin, Son Hye-jin, Park Seo-Jun. In January, PLDT's wireless unit Smart Communications announced its newest endorser, Grammy-nominated Korean boy band BTS.
