Samsung today sent a press release highlighting the Galaxy A51 is a success.
The Korean firm cited data from Strategy analytics noting that the said model is the most popular Android smartphone in the world in 2020. iPhone
Global smartphone shipment estimates that it sold more than 63,000 units per day or more than 2,600 units per hour during the first quarter of 2020.
To recap, the Galaxy A51 is a device offering premium looks and an AMOLED display at a mid-range price point. It goes with Prism colors at the back, 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with In-Display fingerprint scanner, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 4,000mAh battery, USB-C 15W charging, 48MP quad-cam, and 32MP selfie-cam. The only questionable part of its specs is the 2-year-old Exynos 9611 which lags against the chip compared to most similarly priced phones.
Originally, this retails for PHP 17,990, but not it is now priced at just 13,990 on the Samsung Online Store PH.
To build upon the success of this model, Samsung noted that it will unleash its new A-series phones on an online event this March 17, 2020.
Let's see if Samsung will impress us more this time.
