Xiaomi Mi AX9000 router and Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro goes official in China!

Xiaomi recently revealed multiple products during its mega launch event, including a new router and a new projector.

The company revealed the new Mi AX9000 router with WiFi 6 that showcases 9000 megabit rate support. Xiaomi says that the AX in "AX900" stands for WiFi 6 whereas the 9000 is for its transmission capability. 

The Mi AX9000 is powered by a Qualcomm IPQ8072 4-core A53 2.2GHz CPU and 2-core 1.7GHz NPU (Network Acceleration Engine).  Xiaomi equipped this device with 12 antennas.  Each antenna set contains three high-gain antennas, 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz, and 5.8GHz, for wider signal coverage. 

The new WiFi router also supports MU-MIMO and OFDMA, meaning it can support connectivity for up to 16 devices. Allegedly, the router sports a designated frequency. Moreover, this tri-band device has a dedicated 5GHz band in addition to the typical 2.5 and 5GHz frequencies.

The Mi AX9000 features a 160MHz high-frequency width that can produce high-speed connectivity even with multiple devices are connected. The company also focuses on its connectivity and range, claiming to offer strong speeds up to a range of 12 meters.

Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro can double as a smart home hub

Meanwhile, Xiaomi also outs the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro. Basically, this device can project a 60-inch to 120-inch screen with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080. It goes with an upgraded  0.47-inch DMD chip so it can produce an output maximum of 1300 ANSI lumens of brightness. According to the company, it can still give a highly visible picture even during the day or in a well-lit area.

This latest projector from Xiaomi comes with an automatic Omni-directional keystone correction. This makes sure of the screen dimension’s alignment regardless of how the device is placed or adjusted. On the other hand, the ToF sensor enables the image to auto-focus in just two seconds.

The Mi Smart Projector also acts as a smart home hub so it can connect with other AIoT smart home gadgets. In addition to this, this projector runs under certified Android TV operating systems so Netflix, Google Chromecast, and Google Assistant are already included.
