Lenovo Legion 2 Pro to arrive on April 8

Lenovo announced that the Legion 2 Pro smartphone will arrive on April 8. It is boasting a 5,500mAh battery and a 90W fast charging solution.

Lenovo Legion 2 Pro to have 5,500mAh battery with 90W charging

For starters, the Legion 2 Pro specs sheet is yet to be revealed fully. What we do know is that it will have a huge 6.92-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Inside, it will be powered by the 2.84GHz 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G octa-core processor and the Adreno 660 GPU. So, it may have WiFi 6 and 5G connectivity as well. Thermal management will be handled by Lenovo's proprietary dual-turbo cooling system as well. Rumors have it, according to Geekbench listing leak, that it will have up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

In terms of the battery, the 5,500mAh battery is huge. So with the 90W fast charging, it is yet to be known if it will implement two USB-C ports ala Lenovo Legion Phone Duel with each having 45W of power or a singular 90W fast-charging solution.

Lenovo also said that it will be releasing a teaser each day leading to the April 8 launch event. So stay tuned for that!
