PAC-MAN 99 battle royale launched on Switch

Classic retro survival game?
Ever since the release of PUBG and Fortnite, battle royale games have become the new trend nowadays. This time the PAC-MAN franchise jumps to the bandwagon as well. Nintendo launched a new multiplayer game through Switch's online subscription service.
The game pits multiple players against each other on survival-style gameplay similarly close to Tetris 99 and the recently discontinued Super Mario Bros. 35.
Of course, it still brings the classic look of PAC-MAN, but there's a way to make it difficult for your foes to survive by swallowing buffs such as the power pellets, eating ghosts, and sending "Jammer PAC-MAN, over to their screens. Players can also use one of the pre-programmed tactics to annoy their enemies, such as speeding up their game.

The new battle royale has also different themes available for purchase that replace up the music and visuals based on other Namco games like Galaga, Xevious, and Dig Dug. There will be up to 20 selections that can be chosen.
The game is now available for download and it will be accessible via the Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The game is Switch exclusive.
