OPPO Philippines today announced that the newest addition to its A Series of phones will go official on May 26—the A54 6GB+128GB.

Smoother version of the A54!
Technically, this handset is similar to the A54 introduced in April 2021, but it has a large 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. This means that it can handle more tasks at the same time than the A54 with 4GB RAM keeping your device smooth most of the time.
The rest are identical. It also goes with a gradient glass-like back design in Crystal Black and Starry Blue colors boating a large rectangular camera hump at the back and IPX4 water splash resistance. In front, it uses a 6.51-inch 2.5D curved LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.3GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU with HyperBoost to improve the performance and smoothness of select apps or games by reallocating system resources, letting you experience less lag, and can multitask more.
It also has a large 128GB expandable internal storage via microSD slot and a 5,000mAh battery that promises up to 2.2 days of battery life on a single charge.
The battery can be charged via USB-C using an 18W fast charger. OPPO claimed that it can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 2 hours and 23 minutes and 10 minutes of charging is equals to 13 percent.
For the back cameras, it uses a 13MP f/2.2 w/ PDAF + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP depth + LED flash triple-camera setup.
This handset also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
